Educational and Research Laboratory on Policy Issues in the Field of Crime Prevention was established according to Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University rector order on October 14, 2013.
The creation of the Laboratory was due to the fact that for a long time at the Department of Criminal Law research issues in the field of crime prevention were carried out within the school of Professor P. L. Fris, Doctor of Law.
Now the staff of the Laboratory consists of the laboratory head, Doctor of Law, Prof. Fris P. L, Assoc. Prof. Kozych I. V, Assoc. Prof. Meditskyi I. B, Assoc. Prof. Petechel O. Yu, Assoc. Prof. Shpiliarevych V. V
